Obama's The Man (Times Are A-Changin')

Come all of you naysayers, throughout the land
Let me tell you something you don’t understand
The right it is wrong, Obama’s the man
Who can lead us through all that we’re facing

I turned on the show, and what did I see
But 3 aging white guys they’re talking at me
And they seem to think they still hold the key
The old guard is rapidly aging
They simply don’t get it, and neither does she
For the times they are a changing

Now here comes a guy looks a little like me
And he’s got some idea that just might set us free
From the strangle hold that they’ve all got on DC
And some pain and some suffering maybe
I can see the world as I know it should be
For the times they are a’changing
Can you see the world as you know it could be

I was inspired to record this political commentary/parody while watching the 2nd day
of the Republican National Convention on September 2nd, 2008. I just couldn't take anymore.

The video features me (Sean Trachtman) performing the song that I wrote and recorded
at Bisbee Sound Studio, the video was shot and edited by Margaret Dillard at
Prism Communications (www.PrismCommunications.tv), and Jane Anderson
provided set management services. The setting is the entrance to the Queen Mine
